Families heading to Monk Park Farm this October half-term are in for a treat — because Pig Snuggling is back!
Visitors can settle in at the farm’s cosy Petting Barn and enjoy cuddles with newborn micro piglets, born just a couple of weeks ago on the farm.
This heart-warming hands-on experience is included in standard farm admission and runs alongside Monk Park Farm’s spellbinding Wizard Academy week (27th October – 2nd November), where visitors of all ages can enjoy a day packed with farm fun and fantasy.

Pig Snuggling has always been one of the most loved experiences at Monk Park Farm.
Our tiny piglets absolutely adore a cuddle, and it’s such a special moment for families — especially when it’s part of our Wizard Academy week, where there’s magic, animals, and adventure around every corner!
The Wizard Academy adds an enchanting twist to the usual farm activities — think potion-making stations, broomstick Flying School, Squidditch Games and themed fun across the 84-acre site — while all the classic farm favourites are still running, including:
- Grooming the bunnies and petting guinea pigs
- Feeding the friendly Highland cows
- Handling bugs (including a tarantula!)
- Meeting the farm’s pet rats
- Exploring the walk-through wallaby enclosure and outdoor adventure areas
Visitors can also upgrade their day to include the Monk Park Farm Pumpkin Patch, a separate experience perfect for autumn photo ops and picking the perfect pumpkin to take home.
