There was a traffic incident on Beckwith Road near the junction with Otley Road, Harrogate – reported at 5.32pm on Tuesday (23 September 2025).
It involved a police van, and a black Ford Fiesta, that had overturned onto its roof.
- Three officers in the Peugeot Expert police van have received treatment for minor injuries.
- The woman driving the black Ford Fiesta car, which overturned onto its roof, has been taken to hospital by ambulance with an arm injury. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Witnesses or motorists with relevant dashcam footage are asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting reference NYP-23092025-0389.
Road closures were put in place while the emergency services worked at the scene. It reopened at 7.50pm.
