Wetherby Developer hands over £7,000 to Children In Need appeal

A Wetherby property developer has laid the foundations for helping disadvantaged children from across Yorkshire.

Berkeley DeVeer has handed over £7,000 to the Children In Need, appeal after pledging £1,000 for every reservation made at its latest development in Pudsey, Leeds.

The Thorp Arch-based company marked the donation by spelling out the amount in bricks, thanks to its contracts manager Jason Albrecht.

The independent developer is currently bringing three sites to life in its North Yorkshire heartland – at Melmerby, West Tanfield and Northallerton.
