Independent Italian eaterie Caffe Marconi has teamed up with one of Harrogate’s leading florists to stage an evening of bubbles and blooms next month.
The owners of Caffe Marconi, in Princes Square, Harrogate, and Caine Florists in nearby John Street, are joining forces on Wednesday, 5 April 2017, for a special Easter-themed event.
Visitors to the Italian café/pizzeria will be given an insight into the skills needed to create beautiful floral displays for your home.
Harrogate florist Lance Sykes will show visitors how to make an Easter tree as well as learn how to create a spring hand-tied floral arrangement.
Lance said: We have done a number of these floral events in Harrogate, and have had great feedback. It’s lovely to be doing an Easter event at Caffe Marconi – It’s going to be great fun.
Sasso is our favourite Harrogate restaurant – and we love Caffe Marconi too.
As well as learning from Lance, guests to the Bubbles and Blooms night will be able to enjoy a glass of prosecco and tuck into pizza bites created by the team at Caffe Marconi.
The Bubbles and Blooms evening, between 7.30 and 9pm, is the latest in a string of events being held at both Caffe Marconi and Sasso and is the idea of owner Sara Ferguson.
Sara said: As an independent restaurant in Harrogate, fighting against the increasing number of chains, we want to provide our customers with something a little different.
We have great space at both Sasso and Caffe Marconi, which is perfect for hosting events such as our Bubbles and Blooms evening next month. Our last jewellery event was a great success, which inspired us to plan a number of new Bubbles evenings over the coming months.
In May, Caffe Marconi will be hosting staff from Waterstones in Harrogate for a Bubbles and Books evening – again, guests will be able to learn about the latest releases at the book store, while enjoying a glass of prosecco and pizza slices!
And in June, Clarins and House of Colour experts will be joining the team at Caffe Marconi for an evening of Bubbles and Beauty on 28 June.
Tickets for all the events cost £10 and are available from the team at Caffe Marconi.
