Artisan designer paint specialist Hicks and Weatherburn has teamed up with Boston Spa store Douglas Yeadon Hardware in a partnership that both businesses hope will encourage people to buy locally and support independent businesses.

Hicks and Weatherburn’s paints are becoming well known by interiors experts nationwide and were recently featured in Elle Decoration magazine.

Hicks and Weatherburn is one of Yorkshire’s oldest paint makers, and has been hand-manufacturing its products since the mid-1700s. The company recently launched a range of luxury interior paints inspired by and named after Yorkshire landmarks.

Jonathan Wain of Hicks and Weatherburn, said:

Partnerships with local independent shops make our products more accessible to people who are decorating their homes and hopefully encourage people to shop for locally made products on their high street.

Mark Yeadon of Douglas Yeadon said:

Local businesses have an important role to play in community life and we pride ourselves on the range and choice of products in our store.

We are delighted to now be offering Hicks and Weatherburn luxury paint and giving our customers the option to buy a quality product that is made in Yorkshire.

Douglas Yeadon Hardware is at 169 High St, Boston Spa, LS23 6BH.
