Harrogate trusts solicitor published in international journal

Kate Maybury, an associate solicitor specialising in Trusts, Wills and Estates at Harrogate law firm Raworths has been published in the international publication for the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). The Society is the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations, promoting best practice, professional integrity and education. STEP has over 20,000 members across 95 countries. They include lawyers, accountants and other trust and estate specialists. Members of STEP are subject to rigorous examination to achieve membership.

Kate’s article covered the finer points of the Inheritance Tax Act 1984 in respect of making transfers to children. Kate is a member of the Trusts, Wills and Estates team at Raworths led by well-known solicitor Rachel Tunnicliffe. The Trusts, Wills and Estates team has a broad client base. Many clients have complex affairs and require ongoing advice for matters such as charitable trusts, business and agricultural interests and foreign assets.
