Recruitment goes into overdrive for Synergy Automotive’s tenth anniversary

7 January 2016

Harrogate-based national vehicle leasing and contract hire company, Synergy Automotive, is celebrating the start of its tenth year with a 33% staff increase and unprecedented growth.

The business, which provides B2B and B2C car leasing, contract hire and finance services to customers UK wide, has made seven appointments in seven months – boosting the team to 22.

The recruitment drive includes three new client services employees, three sales account managers, and marketing and communications manager Nicola Ech-Channa who has amassed over a decade of brand marketing and commercial experience.

Nicola said:

Synergy Automotive is at the forefront of a fast-moving and growing market which is fundamentally changing the way the nation has access to a car.  Over the next few years, ever more businesses and private individuals will choose agreements on brand new vehicles on terms which suit them, replacing the traditional car ownership model.  It’s great to have joined the business at this exciting time.

The key developments come at a formative period for the company which has posted a 66% sales increase over the last three years; almost doubled its turnover to £1.5 million across 2014-2015; and expanded into new offices on Hornbeam Park.

Synergy Automotive founder and MD, Paul Parkinson, added:

Today’s automotive sector is incredibly fast moving and we are proud that we do not merely move with the times but we help to drive them.

Our recruitment is geared to enhancing the outstanding customer experience that is the mainstay of our success. It’s vital that we attract and retain the best people who are personable and combine industry knowledge with a focus on delivering the best leasing experience for every single one of our clients.

A champion of enhancing industry standards, Paul was recently among a delegation of British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) committee members that met HMRC in London to discuss the future of company car tax.
