Harrogate Ladies’ college lacrosse team takes Yorkshire storm

Ladies’ College Lacrosse team is taking Yorkshire by storm with seven pupils selected to play in the U19 Yorkshire Lacrosse A squad.

Tilly Axon, Isabel Copnall, Annabelle Fuller, Tassy Heslop, Alexandra Skinner, Mia Southgate and Christina Wood will all represent Yorkshire and compete in a series of inter-county competitions.

An additional six members of the Ladies’ College team, Emma Brown, Elizabeth Gill, Amy Harrison, Brigitte Jennings, Lexie Murray and Lucy Walch have been selected for the U19 Yorkshire Lacrosse B squad, while Maria Osadchenko was selected as a non-travelling reserve.

The girls have worked incredibly hard to reach the levels of performance and skill needed to earn places in the Yorkshire squad.

I’m so proud of what they’ve achieved and I wish them all the best for their forthcoming inter-county competitions.
