Appeal for information following assault at York Races

are appealing for information following an in the Champagne at Races.

The incident happened at around 5.15pm on Thursday 20 August when the victim, a 20 year old man, was punched in the face and suffered bruising to his mouth.

A 24 year old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information about it is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.
