CCTV images released in Ripon card theft investigation

Police are investigating after a woman had her debit card stolen from a supermarket in Ripon.

The victim, a 71-year-old local woman, was shopping in Morrisons on 12 February 2015, when he card was stolen.

The card was then used at various stores in Northallerton and Thirsk.

Officers have released CCTV images of a couple who were seen in Argos, Northallerton, at the time the card was used fraudulently.

They are appealing to anyone who recognises the people in the images to get in touch with information.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for PC Jayne Lambert or Harrogate Investigation Hub.
