The victim, a 22-year-old local man, was assaulted by another man near the cloakroom in Fibbers, on Toft Green at around 1am on Thursday 15 January 2015.
Officers have been making extensive enquiries in an effort to locate the suspect and are now appealing to the public to help identify him.
CCTV images of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the assault have been released and anyone who recognises him is urged to come forward.
