The incident in Ripon that involved concerns for the safety of a vulnerable woman at a property has been brought to a safe conclusion.
Nobody was harmed in the incident and at no time was there any threat to the general public.
Police were called to a property on Bondgate at around 8.20am today following concerns for the safety of a 34-year-old woman.
North Yorkshire Police haved thanked the people in the area for their patience and understanding during the incident.
