Stolen police uniform and cocker spaniel recovered

On Monday, 14 April 2014, a Ford Mondeo was stolen from West Tanfield.

On board the vehicle was a black cocker spaniel called Quinn and a uniform with ID badge.

A 40-year-old man has now been arrested in at 12.20am on Tuesday 15 April 2014, in connection with the theft. It is believed he had travelled to from by taxi.

Quinn and the stolen Ford Mondeo were found in today and has been taken to a local vet’s surgery for a check up.

The missing staff uniform and identification have also been recovered.
