Woman attacked on St Andrew’s Walk in Harrogate

Harrogate police are appealing for information following and assault in the town.

It occurred at around 1.15am on Sunday 30 June 2013, as a 20-year-old local woman walked along St Andrew’s Walk.

She was approached from behind and hit once in the face, causing a swollen lip.

PC Linsey Moore, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

Thankfully the victim Wass no seriously hurt. However, she was left shaken by the assault.

As the incident only lasted for a short time and the woman was taken by surprise, she was unable to get a description of the person who hit her.

If you have any information that could help to identify the assailant, I ask that contact the police as soon as possible.
