RadioFrom 6am on 1 Feb 2012 Stray FM will be extending its coverage to include the Yorkshire Dales.

Stray FM has acquired the broadcasting licence for the Yorkshire Dales, so can now be heard across Skipton, Ilkley, Otley and the surrounding areas.

These are the frequencies you can now listen to Stray FM on:

  • 107.1 FM (Ilkley, Otley and Pateley Bridge)
  • 102.6 FM (Richmond)
  • 1431 AM (Settle/Giggleswick)
  • 1413 AM (Skipton)
  • 936 AM (Wensleydale)

You can also listen online, or on the Stray FM iPhone and Android apps.

If you live in Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Wetherby or Boroughbridge, Stray FM won’t be changing and there will still be local news and information.

Patrick Dunlop, Stray FM’s Head of News, said:

Since announcing our expansion, we’ve had a fantastic response from both listeners and clients. The organisers of several events in Skipton and Ilkley have already asked Stray FM to be involved, which is a great start.

We’re looking forward to getting out and meeting lots of new listeners over the next few months. You never know, some of them may even make it on to the news themselves!

Good luck to StrayFM for the first day.
