storage HarrogateA Harrogate storage facility has been “repackaged” to appeal to small and start-up businesses.

Town Centre Storage, located in the former Territorial Army Drill Hall, on Strawberry Dale, has undergone the first of a two phase transformation to its 4,500 sq ft interior.

The initial stage has seen the installation of more than two dozen purpose built lockers, ranging in size from 25sq ft to 120sqft, which are aimed at businesses in the area looking for short or long-term storage space. The building also benefits from being able to provide tailor-made units.

Town Centre Storage has already attracted an audio visual company, bathroom marketing business, two electricians and a young actress requiring a safe and dry environment in which to store her collection of costumes.

Town Centre Storage managing director Terry Dixon said:

We are able to offer a unique facility for small or start up businesses without any commitment to leases or contracts.

The recently completed improvements are part of a two-phase transformation of the interior which will appeal to a wide range of customers looking for flexible storage solutions.

In addition to storage, we are now accepting parcels and deliveries and offering a mail box service. In fact, a business can be run from within the Drill Hall.

We already have a diverse customer base, ranging from micro businesses to companies looking for a temporary stopgap whilst relocating, to internet traders selling a wide range of goods and services.”
