Knaresborough Based Fuel Card Reseller Supports Movember Charity Drive

Staff at Knaresborough based fuel card reseller The Fuelcard Company have been sprouting moustaches to raise money and awareness for men’s health including prostate cancer.

Thirteen members of the team joined in the Movember campaign, raising £300 for men’s health charities including The Prostate Cancer Charity and the Institute of Cancer Research.

Michael Evans, the Inbound Customer Manager Team Leader was crowned The Fuelcard Company’s ‘Mo King’ for his well-cultivated facial hair, with Will Birch, Sales Executive, coming in second place and Risk Manager Matthew Kenyon in third.

Jakes de Kock, Sales and Marketing Director at The Fuelcard Company, said the team had been delighted to support the cause:

Movember is a fantastic campaign and the staff were more than happy to showcase their impressive facial-hair growing capabilities to support a worthy cause! Prostate and testicular cancer are the top two males specific cancers in the UK and taking part in Movember is a great way to raise awareness and much needed funds.

Other staff taking part in the campaign included Sean Kavanaugh, David Kelly, Luke Craig, Tom Halstead, Adam Selfridge, Phil Hale, Nick Neill, Dom Fletcher, Ben Mackrill and Tony Hobbs.
