World Championship for St John Fisher Yr 11 student

Jonathan Dudley, a Year 11 pupil at St John Fishers Catholic High , , represented the United Kingdom in the World Biathle Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria on 25th September. Jonathan was placed 8th in his group, the Youth B section.

Jonathan has been competing in triathlons for the past two years and was selected to compete in the Biathle World Championships after his performance in the British championships in Salford , Manchester earlier in the summer. The Biathle consists of a 1000m run followed by a 200m swim, then another 1000m run. Jonathan finished in a time of 9 minutes 04 seconds. He trains up to 16 1/2 hours per week and now has his sights set on the Commonwealth youth games in 2013.
