A talented young musician from Harrogate Ladies’ College has developed her passion for ‘tickling the ivories’ by becoming quite a star within her local community.
After showcasing her skills as an outstanding organist in several church services, Lucinda Taylor has been invited to join the organist rota at Harrogate Road Methodist Church in Ripon.
The multi-talented musician also plays the Harp and Piano up to grade eight. As a fifth generation organist within her family, Lucinda proves that musical talent certainly runs in the genes.
HLC Headmistress, Rhiannon Wilkinson said:
We are absolutely thrilled that Lucinda’s musical talent is making such a great impression on the local community. It is refreshing to see a young person taking such an interest in traditional instruments and we all thoroughly enjoy listening to her play.
