Leeds man knocked down as thieves take his car

North West Leeds police are appealing for information after a man was knocked down by thieves who had stolen his car in the early hours of 25th July.

At about 3.40am the man was woken by noise at his home in Autumn Terrace, Burley, and ran into the street to see two white men turning his silver Audi TT around.

As he stood in the road the thieves drove at him at speed and hit him sending him over bonnet. Fortunately the man received only minor injuries.

The thieves had taken the keys to the vehicle, registration DN04JZM, when they broke in through a back door. An Apple laptop, mobile phone, and a wallet containing cash were also taken.
