Police are appealing for witnesses after an 86-year-old man died following a road traffic collision in Belle Isle.
At 4.05pm on Saturday (2/7), the man was riding a mobility scooter which was involved in a collision with a Renault Scenic in Sharp Lane, near to the junction with Melton Avenue. It is believed he was crossing Sharp Lane at the time of the incident.
He was unseated from his vehicle by the impact and received serious head injuries. He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he later died.
