Police are appealing for information after a 40-year-old man was seriously injured after being found in the road on King Lane near to the junction with the ring-road (A6120) at Moortown.
The man was found around 6.25pm yesterday (19 June) and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he remains in a stable condition today.
At this stage it is not known if the injured man was in collision with a vehicle but police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information.
