Police release EFIT image of suspect in Ripley burglary

Police investigating a two-in-one burglary in Ripley have today released an EFIT image of a suspect they would like to trace.

The incident happened overnight between Saturday 21 May and Sunday 22 May 2011 when a blue Audi S3 was stolen from Scarah Bank cottages. The vehicle was subsequently used in two burglaries in the West Yorkshire area – one in Bradford and one in Huddersfield – before being recovered in Lynthorne Road, Bradford, on Thursday 2 June 2011.

Police would like to speak to anyone who can help them locate the man pictured in the EFIT, as he has been identified as being involved in the burglary in Huddersfield.

Detective Constable Paul Groves, of Harrogate CID, said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man in the EFIT or has any other information regarding the burglaries to contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.”
