Marston’s have withdrawn their application for the Mile Post on the Road to enable it to be used as a Sainsbury’s Local convenience store.

The proposal was for a single storey extension, internal alternations and installation of a window and door to allow it to be used as a convenience store.

A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s said:

“Sainsbury’s is still committed to bringing a new Local store to . We will continue to work with Marston’s and the local community and hope to bring these plans forward in the near future.”
