Savills appoints new head for Harrogate Office

International property advisor Savills has today appointed Peter Moody to lead its residential business. He is tasked with growing the town in as well as the already established country house .

Peter will work closely with agents Deborah Mitchell and Georgina Buchanan at the Savills office on Albert Street, . He will also work alongside Savills and , which deal with residential, rural, and commercial property work.

Peter is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and is MRICS qualified (a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors). His first job after graduating from the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester was with Savills in 1991.

He subsequently moved to the estate agency arm of General (now Your Move) in 1993. In 1996 he joined forces with Ben Hudson to form successful agent Hudson Moody in York city centre, growing it to six offices by 2010.

Peter comments: “I’m looking forward to working at Savills once again as it is well known for a strong entrepreneurial culture. The Harrogate town market is an area that we’ll be focussing on and I’m looking forward to working with some of the best people in the business to help both new and established clients.”
