Harrogate police are appealing for witnesses following an assault outside Pizza Parada in Station Parade on New Years Eve.
At approximately 11-11.20pm there was a verbal altercation between a man, his girlfriend and three other men. A physical assault has taken place in the alley between Truffles cafe and The Phone Shop.
At the time of the incident, the victim, spoke with officers and appeared to be physically fine, however on waking has required hospitalisation and medical treatment to a leg injury possibly sustained in the assault.
There were several people at Pizza Parada who witnessed the incident and several who spoke to the people involved.
Police are particularly interested in speaking to speak to the three men involved in the altercation. All are described as being white, in their early twenties with short dark hair. Two were wearing smart black jackets and smart dark jeans. The third was wearing a mid-length, slate grey ‘Superdry’ jacket and dark blue jeans.
