Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) is inviting the public to its Annual General and Members Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 23 October, held at Teesside University’s Students’ Union.
The Trust provides mental health and learning disability services across County Durham, Tees Valley, North Yorkshire and York.
The event will take place from 11am to 3.30pm and provides a great opportunity to meet and hear from our new Chief Executive, Alison Smith who joined the Trust on 8 September.
In addition to presenting the trust’s Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025, the trust will also be sharing the work that’s taking place to drive forward their commitment to the NHS 10-year health plan.
The NHS 10-year health plan outlines three key themes, to support health care services to be ‘fit for future’: moving care from hospital to community; shifting from analogue to digital ways of working; and changing the focus from treatment to prevention.

Our Annual General and Members meeting is an opportunity for our colleagues to show the meaningful work that they do every day to provide safe and kind care to people in our care. We’ll also l share an update on how we’re working closely with our partners to support the key themes in the NHS 10-year health plan and talk about commitment and future plans to meet the changing needs of our communities.
The Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust AGM is a great opportunity to learn more about mental health and learning and disability services in your area.
Anyone can attend and there’ll also be the opportunity to talk with staff from a variety of trust teams, services and programmes in the ‘services marketplace’. This will be open from 11am, until the start of the main meeting at 1pm.
