Sasso keeps a place in the Good Food Guide

The owners of an independent family-run Italian restaurant in Harrogate are celebrating after being included in the UK’s best-selling food guides – for the seventh year running.

Sasso, in Princes Square, Harrogate, has been praised for its ‘sound regional Italian cooking’ in the latest edition of The Good Food Guide, which has just been published.

The Italian restaurant celebrated its 15th birthday earlier this year and one of just three restaurants in the town to be included in the independent and authoritative guide to eating out in the UK.

Sasso is owned and operated by Chef Stefano Lancelotti and his wife Sara. The restaurant is named after Stefano’s home town in northern Italy and opened in 1998.

Stefano said:

I am really delighted to be included in The Good Food Guide – it is the UK’s best-selling restaurant guide and to be featured for the seventh year in a row is a real accolade for us here at Sasso.

We know that we are producing high-quality, traditional Italian food with a modern twist, and for the Good Food Guide to recognize this, year after year, is testament to our consistency, the quality of our cooking and the excellent team we have here at Sasso.
