Harrogate Town 0 Corby Town 1 (Sansara 72 min) Att 308

Corby gained a double over Harrogate Town in a close fought match at the C N G Stadium.

Harrogate made the early running with Graeme Armstrong heading a Ciaran Toner lob over the bar in the third minute.

Corby began to exert themselves with skipper Phil Gulliver going close with a snap shot and Andy White shooting across the home goal. Unfortunatley,White sustained a serious leg injury as he shot which saw him taken to hospital.

Andy Hutchinson replaced Adam Nowakowski at half time and immediatley hammered a powerful drive at Chris Mackenzie in the visitors goal which rebounded to Lee Ellington, who forced a corner.

Harrogate pressed forward with sub Wayne Phillips and Dominic Roma both threatening the Corby goal. However,a 71st minute double substitution by the visitors swung the game in their favour.

Within a minute sub Netan Sansara swept home a low centre as Harrogate were caught on the break. Harrogate tried hard to equalise, with even keeper Mark Cook going forward for one late corner, but it was the visitors who nearly doubled their advantage when Adam Webster’s glancing header forced Cook into a brilliant diving save.
