Discover the importance of science in uncovering the past. Why has Harrogate got such stinky water? Experiment to see how the rocks under our feet created our spa town. Dig up some historical objects and find out all about them. Find out about artefacts from different parts of the world in our trail around the Museum.

All activities are self-led and included with standard museum admission charges.  (Please note Sunday opening is 14.00 until 17.00).

The Harrogate Informer is asking our readers to support local independent journalism.

We are editorially independent and publish without bias or influence – there is not a rich investor or shareholders that we answer to.
