Singing Mums is a fun, friendly pop choir running weekly in term times for Mums (or Nans) to unwind, socialise and harmonise. Singing is proven to reduce cortisol (the stress hormone) and release endorphins. The NHS are now prescribing singing for people suffering with stress, anxiety and depression!

We sing a mixture of pop and rock, occasionally some musical theatre old and new. Most of the song arrangements are done by our leaders making it a unique choir set at a level that suits the group. We want it to sound great without being overly complicated!

No audition or special talent is required, everyone is welcome.

Singing Mums was originally set up in the day time with the babies in tow. We realised it was more beneficial for Mums to have something for them to do in the evenings without having one eye on the little one. Have a cuppa (sometimes a wine) a chat, and become part of a singing family.

We now have three choirs in , Wakefield and Harrogate and exciting opportunities set for performances in 2019.

Come and join the Singing Mums Choir!
