6:45pm - 8:45pm
On Saturday 16th September Film at the Frazer returns with two fantastic films, both shown on our brand new stage-filling screen and at special value prices.
At 6.45pm the 1952 classic “Singin’ in the Rain” is back on the big screen where it belongs. Starring Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor, and Debbie Reynolds, the film, which is regularly voted one of the greatest of all time, depicts a light-hearted version of 1920’s Hollywood, with three stars caught up in the transition from silent movies to “Talkies”. Best known for the now legendary sequence where Kelly sings the title song, it is often overlooked for the many other stunning musical dance sequences and clever, incisive plot.
Tickets are £3 and are available on the door, in advance from our online box at www.frazertheatre.co.uk or by calling 07835 927965.
Doors open 6:15pm, film starts at 6:45pm.
Film at the Frazer has been made possible through a grant from Harrogate Borough Council’s Small Grants Scheme with the aim of providing affordable cultural, social and intergenerational activities for the residents of Knaresborough.
