RUDDING PARK GOLF GIVES CHARITIES THE CHANCE TO WIN UP TO £6,300

Over the last three years Rudding Park Golf has been running a hole in one competition on the Repton Short Course and entry fees have raised a prize fund of £6,300. To date no participants have been lucky enough to claim the prize so on Saturday 22 July Rudding Park is holding a Hole in One Shoot Out giving charities the chance to win the total prize fund.

Twelve nominated charities will have the chance to claim the fund, and we are encouraging anyone who would like to get involved to literally ‘take a shot at it’ and win the prize fund for their favourite amongst the nominated charities.

Each charity team has 30 minutes to hit as many balls as they can. Children will also have the chance to join in and play from the children’s tee. No experience necessary and clubs can be provided.

James King, Rudding Park Golf Manager explained: The Hole in One competition has raised a fantastic amount and we wanted to do something worthwhile so we came up with the idea of the Charity Shoot Out. Each charity team has 30 minutes to hit as many balls as they can. Children will also have the chance to join in and play from the children’s tee. No experience necessary, just a positive ‘have a go’ attitude! If more than one charity achieves a hole in one, the prize fund will be split equally between them. If no one gets a hole in one the fund will be split equally between all of the charities.

Players can either bring their own balls, or purchase lake balls on the day and all money raised will be added to the final total on the day.
