From Wednesday 11th to Saturday 14th October, the Knaresborough Players will be performing “The Farndale Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society’s Production of Macbeth”.

“By the pricking of my thumbs, something comic this way comes.”
Those angels of chaos, the ladies of The Farndale Housing Estate’s Townswomen’s Guild are back with their version of the Bard’s “Scottish Play”. They have been rehearsing twice a week for nine months and they are determined to get their Macbeth to the national finals in Welwyn Garden City. After all, what could possible go wrong? Well actually quite a lot it seems.

It all starts when Hilda boards the wrong bus and gets lost in , when she should be ready to go on and play Lady Macbeth. But are they daunted by the prospect of failure? Not likely – well these are the Farndale Ladies- they have a secret weapon that they are about to unleash on the unsuspecting public to achieve their life’s ambition…
“This is Shakespeare, Will, but not as we know it..”

“A farcical and very funny production of Shakespeare’s tragedy”

There are 5 performances of the show with a show at 7.30pm on Wednesday 11th to Saturday 14th October plus a matinee performance at 2pm on Saturday 14th.

Tickets are £10 (£8 concessions) and are available from The Old Chemist Shop, Market Place, Knaresborough, our online box office at www.frazertheatre.co.uk (no booking fee) or by calling 07835 927965.

Doors open 30 minutes before the show start time.
