On Friday 6 July Newby Hall will host an intimate ‘Conversation with Lauren Child’ where Lauren will talk about her fascination for dolls’ houses and the joy of creating stories in a miniature world of make-believe. This exclusive evening will run from 6.30 – 8.30pm and tickets are £20 for adults and £12 for children and include all day access to Newby Hall Gardens and a welcome drink.

Lauren will also be at Newby Hall on Saturday 7 July to officially open a complementary summer exhibition of her artwork as well as a Lauren Child character-themed trail in the lovely gardens. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the author in person and purchase signed copies of her books, including the latest Charlie and Lola title ‘A Dog with Nice Ears’ which is being released in paperback this summer.

The summer exhibition will run until 7 September and signed limited edition prints will be available to buy.
