26 April 2018

Snooty Frox of Harrogate has raised £1,825 for the PPR Foundation, a brain tumour charity based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Snooty Frox raised the money by showcasing their latest spring/summer collections at a fashion show dedicated to the PPR Foundation. Before the show, guests enjoyed canapés prepared by The Wild Plum team, and award winning rhubarb gin courtesy of Slingsby.

The PPR Foundation was launched in September 2009, with a mission to raise one million pounds towards brain tumour research at St James’s Hospital in Leeds. So far the charity has raised over £600,000.Brain tumours affect thousands of people every year in the UK, with an average of 4,200 deaths per annum. The PPR Foundation aims to increase the survival rates for those diagnosed and help with the treatment process through funding more research.

Pam Roberts from the PPR Foundation said:

We at The PPR Foundation are extremely grateful to Hilary and the Snooty Frox team and Bethany and the Wild Plum team for their continued and generous support.

This is a significant sum of money and it will make a HUGE difference to the work that we support in Leeds. If it were not for the generosity of Hilary and others, our work would not be able to continue, so thank you, thank you, thank you.
