Update Monday 4 April 2011: Police searching for wanted Scarborough man, Simon Keith Wilson, believe that he is currently in Harrogate or Wetherby.
Officers are appealing for the public to keep an eye out for him and get in contact if they see him.
Inspector Mark Grange, of North Yorkshire Police, said: “Our enquiries indicate that Simon Wilson could well be in the Harrogate or Wetherby areas and I am appealing for residents in those areas to get in touch if they see him.
“We believe that he may be staying in a hotel or a B&B and I would appeal to owners or workers at guest accommodation in Harrogate and Wetherby to be alert and contact the police or Crimestoppers, if they spot him.”
