A room with a view: Nidderdale Plus invites wider community to use meeting facilities

9 September 2013

A North Yorkshire organisation is encouraging businesses, clubs and individuals in the Nidderdale area to take advantage of its flexible and well appointed facilities.

Katy Penn, Nidderdale Plus manager said:

Our room is ideal for holding meetings, training sessions, presentations or exhibitions. It can seat 24 people in a theatre-style setup, and 15 if configured as a boardroom.

Use of presentation equipment and wifi is part of the offer and arrangements for refreshments and catering, and administrative support if required, can be made.

Nidderdale Plus is a non–profit organisation, set up to promote and support the rural area to the west of Harrogate – including Nidderdale, the Washburn Valley and Mashamshire.

Its aim is to keep services local, to support businesses and community organisations and to work in partnership to make a difference. Its office is in the historic Old Workhouse building in Pateley Bridge.

Katy added:

We hope that local businesses and community groups will make the most of our office facilities, available for hire at a very competitive price, minimising travel costs and time and, more importantly for us, take the opportunity to get an insight into the variety of work we are doing in and around Nidderdale.
