An FA Cup Day to forget as Bradford PA slam eight past Harrogate Railway

A tough task for Harrogate Railway against Evo-Stik Premier league leaders Bradford PA but with 3 players returning to the side that lost to Ossett Town mid-week Rail were hoping to pull off an FA Cup shock.

The game started off at a brisk pace and within the first minute Rail could have taken a shock lead. Paul Beesley was put through on goal but he snatched at his shot and the keeper managed to stop the shot.

Within seconds of that chance Rail were one down. A ball down our right opened up our defence which lead to the Bradford PA player in on goal. Craig Parry came out of his goal to narrow the angle down and did well to stop the shot.

Unfortunately for Rail the ball fell to Tom Greaves who had the simple task of shooting into an empty net.
