Mum’s the word at Boroughbridge care home

21 March 2021

Residents at Barchester Healthcare’s Boroughbridge Manor care home, in Boroughbridge, celebrated Mother’s Day with Skype and phone calls with their loved ones. The home was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers for the occasion.

Shelbie at Boroughbridge Manor arranged flowers for each floor, music and games. Chef at the home, Tony prepared a special menu of Roast Beef and Lamb to mark the day along with some beautiful cakes/treats.

Deputy Manager, Ashley Bulmer said:

The residents all had a really lovely day. Although Mother’s Day has had to be a bit different this year, our mums have had video calls with family, not to mention lots of cards and gifts.

Josephine a resident at Boroughbridge Manor commented:

I am so grateful to the staff here who try so hard to make days like this extra special for us all and it was wonderful to be able to see my family safely days before Mother’s Day
