Resurrected Bites ask for a pause on food collections

4 January 2021

Resurrected Bites have asked for a pause on food donations from the general public to Gracious Street Methodist Church in Knaresborough.

A spokesperson for Resurrected Bites said:

In light of the increased risk of the new variant of SARS CoV-2, we need to stop all donations from the general public to Gracious Street Methodist Church.

We are going to organise another drop off point where we can quarantine donations but please bear with us. We will be in touch as soon as possible, as we know people have been collecting for us.

We are just reviewing our current policies and need to reduce the amount of people entering our site at Gracious Street Methodist Church in order to protect the organisation, our volunteers, thereby protecting the service we provide.

Please do not organise any further collections until we request further help. Thank you for your understanding and we are so sorry.

We will be in touch. Thank you so much for your support.
