Children and Staff of King James have generously donated to Resurrected Bites, the charity that provides food parcels for those in the area that struggling financially to feed themselves or their family.
The school put the appeal to their students, and within a few days they had already collected a large pallet of food.
Resurrected Bites supports many families in the area, including a number that have children at the school. The school has been working closely with families that are having difficulties, and before North Yorkshire County Council released their voucher they were looking at running a similar scheme.
Resurrected Bites are always grateful for any and all donations. This food was taken back to their base at Gracious Street in Knaresborough, sorted and then sent out on Monday this week – this food is now peoples homes.
