Masked robbery on Skipton Road in Harrogate

A masked robbery that occurred outside the Co-op on Skipton Road, Harrogate.

It happened at 11.55pm on Thursday 21 March 2019 when a man dressed in dark clothing and wearing a white mask approached another man in the store and demanded money. The victim gave the masked man a small amount of cash, who then made off on foot towards the end of the Co-op car park.

Police say they are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for information about the man in the mask. He was described as approximately 5ft 10″ tall, wearing a black hoodie with white tassels and dark clothing on his bottom half.
