Festival of Britain 1951 silver coins stolen from 95-year-old Harrogate man

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about three burglaries that occurred in Harrogate on Pannal Ash Drive, Oakdale and Greenway.

They occurred on 30 November 2018 between midday and 3pm.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish if anyone witnessed suspicious activity in these areas at the time of the incidents.

In particular, they are appealing for information about stolen items, in particular two Festival of Britain 1951 silver coins, which were taken from the home of a 95-year-old man. Also taken was an oval shaped locket with an “S” engraved and small diamond and a 18 carat gold Tissot watch.
