North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called to Park Street in Ripon at Time of call 22:57 on 9 Demeber 2018
Crews from Ripon, Boroughbridge and Harrogate responded and it was found to be fire on the 2nd floor of a residential flat.
The fire crews entered the building using four breathing apparatus with one hose reel.
Crews then assisted paramedics in giving first aid to four casualties who all were suffering from smoke inhalation.
