Ashville singer to share West End stage with Warwick Davis at charity carol concert

An singer will be sharing a stage this weekend (Saturday, 1 December 2018) with a Harry Potter actor and a former X-Factor winner.

Year 12 pupil Emma Moodie, along with a small choir selected from the Stagebox Musical Theatre Elite teams in London, Manchester and – will be performing in “West End Does: in Concert” starring Warwick Davis, Joe McElderry and a host of West End and Broadway Musical Theatre Stars.

Taking place this Saturday at Cadogan Hall in London, the concert is being held in aid of the “Make a Wish” Foundation .



Emma will be performing with the Stagebox Choir, as well as singing with the West End cast. There will be two concerts – 2pm and 7pm – with Warwick Davis, who starred as Pro Flitwick in the Harry Potter films – acting as compere.

Anna Wilby, Musical Director at Ashville College, said:

Emma is a singing super star and this concert will be a fantastic experience for her.

Her selection speaks volumes about her talent and we are certain she will be a stellar ambassador for the school.
