Children arrived at Killinghall Primary School this morning to find a Tardis had crash landed into the school’s sports cupboard and that the police were already at the scene.
PCSO Luke Salmons said:
North Yorkshire Police received a call at 8am and were quickly at Killinghall Primary School.
We found that Doctor Who’s Tardis had crash landed into the school. The area was cordoned off and various items were found.
Time was spent questioning the children and we left the investigation ongoing with the children.
Mrs Sarah Bassitt, Killingall Primary School Headteacher said:
The caretaker was really shocked to find this morning that the Doctor’s Tardis had crashed into our sports cupboard in the playground.
We contacted the police and were reassured by their speedy arrival.
All the clues so far point to towards that the new Doctor had typed the wrong code in by mistake and landed in our school.
The children are all fascinated by all the clues and the investigations.
Having read the Doctor’s note, they have already found the notebook and started to piece it all together.

Work like this is really important to the police and the community. It helps build a positive image of the police and good relationship with the community.

This fits in with this terms theme of time travellers and our belief to have education outside of the classroom.
These types of days have always been really important and produce some of their best work.
