Alexanders Prestige has taken home two industry awards after impressing a panel of mystery shoppers.

The Boroughbridge-based car dealership, which specialises in buying and selling luxury, sports and 4×4 vehicles, beat national competition to win the Aftersales Excellence and Employer Excellence categories at the Auto Industry Excellence Awards.

Held in association with the IMDA – the Independent Motor Dealers Association – the awards aim to recognise passion, best practice, vision and leadership within the car industry.

For Alexanders Prestige, which was set up in 2005 by childhood friends Alexander Brimelow and Andrew North, the awards follow a string of similar commendations for the company’s customer service and the way it cares for its workforce.

Andrew North said:

We always say that Alexanders Prestige is a business about people as much as it’s about cars and I hope this shows that what we’re doing is hitting the spot.

I’m particularly happy to win these awards because they’re the result of us being visited anonymously by the judges. I think the whole team should be proud.
