Missing Vietnamese girls from York found safe and well


The two Vietnamese girls, Luong Phan, 15, and 14-year-old Tram Le, who went missing from York on Sunday have been found safe and well.

Overnight, one girl was found at an address in the Thames Valley area and the other was located in Bedfordshire.

A 28-year old man appeared in court today charged with two counts of modern slavery.

He has been remanded in custody until Monday 17 July 2017.



The girls are being returned to the care of local authorities.

The investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the case continues.
