Man’s identity sought after York lead theft

York Police have published a CCTV still of a man they would like to speak to about the theft of lead worth £500 from a business in York.
Two men were seen to enter a premises on Seafire Close, Clifton Moor, in a small white van, on 7 September 2016, at about 10.50am.

One man gets out of the van, and looks round the area. He then calls the van over to a large crate of lead. The two men place the lead into the van, and drive off.

Despite extensive enquiries, police have not been able to identify the men involved.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have important information that could assist the investigation.
